Thunderchild was a crooked and violent professional wrestler sliding in popularity within his circuit. Of course he was unaware of this fact and felt lesser wrestling matches arranged for him were a slap in the face. Thunderchild always played the “heel” (the bad guy) in his matches, which went perfectly with his actual personality. His publicist, Patty Cure suggested he try to turn “baby face” (good) and arranged a charity match to raise money for the homeless living in the Mole’s old underground hotel.
Thunderchild of course was to petty for this to go smoothly and he tricked a star struck assistant into giving him all the donated money. When Patty accused him of the left, he broke her leg before storming off to his wrestling match. When the Mole learned of the theft, he was furious and stormed the ring before the start of the match, choking Thunderchild. Dick Tracy and Sam Catchem arrived and the wrestler threw the Mole into the two cops. Seeing the situation, commentator and former wrestling star Jerry King entered the ring and took down Thunderchild with a pile driver. Tracy then arrested him for assault, battery and grand larceny.
